Project will be bid as one contract for Streambank Stabilization Construction. The project entails the stabilization of the existing streambank along Eshelman Run Project Location: 260 North Jackson Street, Strasburg, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania . An engineering estimate was completed with an estimated cost of $150,000.00 Bid security in an amount not less than 10% of the amount of the bid will be required in the form of certified check, cashier's check, bank treasurer's check, or satisfactory bid bond made payable to or naming as obligee West Lampeter Township, Lancaster County. All bids will remain irrevocable for 60 days after the actual date of bid opening in compliance with Act 317 of 1978 approved November 26, 1978. Bidders are advised that they must comply with All State anti-kickback regulations pertaining to work associated with this project. You are required to submit an executed anti-collusion statement with the bid. The Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act (Act No. 442 - Session of 1961) shall apply to this project, as defined within the Project Manual, since this contract is estimated to cost more than $25,000.00. A Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract and each with satisfactory corporate surety, will be required to be furnished by the successful bidder at the time stated in the specifications.
