Renovation of a water / sewer project in Homewood, Alabama. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
As of September 15th, 2022, project is cancelled. Project is no longer needed. The work of the Douglas Tank #9 will be let under one Contract. The principal items of work are detailed herein below. Principal Work: 1. Tank 1 Standpipe, 1,500,000 Gallons, 88 feet high, Clean and Coat Interior and Exterior, and make repairs The Contractor is hereby advised that TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE on this project and that the contract time of 120 consecutive calendar days and noted restrictions shall be strictly observed. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES WILL BE ASSESSED IF THE CONTRACT TIME IS EXCEEDED. The Contractor may apply for an extension of time in accordance with the provisions of the contract; however, such an extension must be approved prior to the contract completion date to avoid the imposition of liquidated damages.
