Site work for a water / sewer project in Macy, Nebraska. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
A copy of a valid Contractor's license for the state in which the work resides or Certification of Renewal thereof issued and registration of Indian owned firm from TERO shall be supplied at the time of bidding and enclosed in the required Bidder's Bond envelope. Each contractor shall include in its bid a Native American Preference plan for the master contract and any subcontracts. An apparent successful bidder who fails to submit a Native American preference plan prior to award of the contract shall be considered a non-responsive bidder for the purpose of awarding the contract. Notice is hereby given to any and all Contractors who bid on projects on trust land within the exterior boundaries of the Omaha Reservation that you are NOT responsible for the one-time payment of the Tribal Employment Rights Ordinance Office (TERO) fee which amounts to three percent (6%) of the total amount of the contract. TERO fees will be paid by the funding agency outside of the contract so Contractors should not include TERO cost in their Bid. One-time Tribal Work Permit fees - Per contractor must be paid as follows: $50.00 for each project. The Contractor should contact the TERO for any additional requirements and any questions should be made to the attention of the TERO Director, Calvin Harlan, at (402) 837-5391.
