Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Valley Springs, California. Working plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
**As of August 31, 2022, bid received were rejected as they were over the budget. Project will rebid but no definite date yet.** It is the intent of these specifications, terms, and conditions to describe the site improvements that the District desires to have completed at its Pardee Center facility. 1. Overview of Site Improvements* a. Clearing and grubbing. b. Site demolition. c. Grading d. Drainage improvements. e. Concrete flatwork. f. Mechanical equipment screens. g. CMU retaining wall with foundation and stone veneer and cap. h. Relocation of existing boulders. i. Irrigation system improvements including testing, startup procedures, training, and maintenance during establishment period. j. Planter edgings k. Plantings, (trees, shrubs, ground cover, and sod), including soil testing and preparation, pre-emergent herbicide, plant establishment period and planting guarantee. l. Rock, Cobble, and Mulch. * The above list is only intended to provide a basic overview of the type of work that this project entails. It is not intended to be all inclusive. Proposers should review the plans and specifications, as well as the existing site conditions to determine the full scope of work that is required. East Bay Municipal Utility District (District) intends to award a contract to the Proposer(s) who best meets the Districts requirements. Contractor Question Deadline. July 27th, 2022 Addendum Issued (if necessary)August 2nd, 2022 Anticipated Contract Start Date October 4, 2022 Contract Duration: 160 Calendar Days Proposer, Proposers principal, or Proposers staff shall have been regularly engaged in the business of providing site improvements for at least three (3) years.
