Renovation of a mixed-use development in Rockford, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; and day care center.
The Rockford Park District is seeking qualified contractors for perform work which includes removing brick, repairing lintels where needed, installing insulation and flexible membrane flashing over existing lintels, reinstalling salvaged or new brick to match existing with weeps at top and bottom of lintels at the Fairgrounds Park Daycare building, 450 Kilburn Ave., Rockford, IL 61101. The Rockford Park District reserves the unrestricted right to reject any or all bids received, to waive or not to waive any informality, or to accept the bid considered to be in the best interest of the Park District. Contractor shall not pay less than the prevailing rates of wages to all laborers, workmen, and mechanics performing work under this contract, and shall comply with the requirements of the IL Wages of Employees on Public Works Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12).
