The project includes the relocation of an existing 20 station computer lab within the library. The existing area of the computer lab will be used to increase the size of a flexible space classroom. Restroom grab bar upgrades throughout the building is also included. This project consists of interior work (with the exception of minor demo work to the mechanical equipment on the roof). Demo of existing cafe to construct a new coffee bar as well as student success offices. Demo of interior wall between two small conference rooms and one door to create one larger room. Some tile removal and carpet installation, new lighting, new reception area and new furniture will be added to the existing lobby area. Interior Remodel: Includes demolition, carpentry, sound insulation, caulking, HM frames, wood doors, hardware, glazing, steel studs, drywall, acoustical ceilings, tile carpeting, painting, signage, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, fire alarm, access controls Construction Constraints: Construction will be in the main lobby of an occupied and busy building.
