As of September 09, 2022, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on September 12, 2022. In general, the Project includes the repairs on the existing building exterior envelope, including replacement of failed sealant joints, cleaning and resealing above-grade brick veneer, and removal and replacement of selected sheet metal parapet copings. Alternate bid scopes include removal and replacement of additional copings, installation of positive-side fluid applied waterproofing at exterior surfaces of basement and crawl space walls, and installation of a basement dewatering system. The project is located at 1800 Sherman Avenue, North Bend, Oregon 97459. Neither Owner nor Architect will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than from the Issuing Office. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: City of North Bend Public Works Department 835 California Avenue, North Bend, Oregon 97459 This project is a public works project subject to ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870. Bidder shall submit a Bid Bond, Certified Check, Cashier's Check, Savings and Loan Secured Check, or irrevocable Letter of Credit issued by a financial institution for ten percent (10%) of the Bid amount plus additive alternates. NON-RESIDENT BIDDERS In accordance with ORS 279A.120, Bidders will be required to indicate on the Bid Form whether or not the Bidder is an Oregon resident. CONTRACTOR'S REGISTRATION The City will not consider Bids unless the Bidder (Contractor) is registered with the Construction Contractors Board as required by ORS 701. ASBESTOS ABATEMENT Asbestos work is not anticipated. If asbestos conditions are discovered by Contractor, Contractor shall immediately notify City.
