Renovation of a mixed-use development in Merced, California. Working plans call for the renovation of a 1,900-square-foot library.
“The owner has determined a prequalified list of general contractors." The University is seeking prequalification for General Contractor for the Kolligian Libary Archives Renovation project. The University of California Merced Library will be expanding its current archival space to include an additional 1,900 square feet of archival storage within the building, which includes a mechanical room with stand-alone mechanical systems for the archival area located on the 4th floor east wing of the library. Additional renovations to existing 900 square feet of office and archival viewing space will be needed as well. Work will occur in an occupied building with an anticipated start date of late spring 2025.
