The Regional Municipality of Niagara (Niagara Region) requires services for inspection, preventative maintenance and repairs of: a) Ten (10) leachate pumping stations located at seven (7) Region's landfill sites; b) Eight (8) Flow meters at Region's landfill sites; c) Valves at ten (10) Region's landfill sites d) 10 groundwater pumping wells at the Mountain Road landfill site. The successful bidder will be responsible for exercising all valves associated with the leachate collection system, stormwater management pond and compost ponds. The work includes all administration, labour, equipment and materials to carry out the necessary inspections, preventative maintenance and repairs by certified operators. The operator will hold the applicable operator licence to that type of facility and that is of the same class as or higher than the class of the facility in accordance with Ontario Regulation 129/04. The successful bidder shall maintain and operate the leachate pumping stations in accordance with the Environmental Compliance Approval (ECA) and Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks (MECP) guidelines.
