RFQ purpose: Create a contractor pool with multiple qualified radon gas mitigation contractors who will bid on radon gas mitigation projects as part of the Healthy Homes Production Grant. Expected number of projects: The Healthy Homes Production Grant will work on approximately 130 homes ("projects") between September 1, 2022, and December 31, 2025. Projects with radon gas at or above 4 picocuries will have a radon gas mitigation system installed. o Historically, 25% of Healthy Homes projects have required radon gas mitigation systems. o Acceptance into the contractor pool through this RFQ allows you to bid on projects. o Note that individual radon mitigation projects will be awarded to the contractor with the lowest bid.
