Question Submission Close Date : 6/23/2022 12:00 PM MDT Salt Lake County (SLCo) requests bids for Margarethe Lane Stabilization. Salt Lake County on behalf of Public Works Engineering requests bids for: The work to be completed on Margarethe Ln includes slope stabilization, roadway widening, pavement preservation, and landscape restoration. Bonding Range: $250,000 to $300,000. The location of the work is: Emigration Canyon Township; Margarethe Lane (6060 East) B. The work to be performed consists of furnishing and installing the equipment, facilities, services and appurtenances thereto as included in the Contract Documents. The work to be completed is described below. 1. Slope stabilization activities where and as specified in the plans. Slope stabilization work consists of, but is not limited to, temporary water controls, erosion control, clearing and grubbing, foundation preparation, placement of material, compaction and grading complete and in place. Slope stabilization also includes installation of rip rap in the new stream bed once slope stabilization is complete. 2. Roadway widening including saw cutting existing pavement, roadway excavation, grading and placement of material including compaction, and placing new asphalt where and as specified in plans. 3. Pavement preservation including rotomilling extents as specified in plans to the depths necessary to establish cross slope as specified in plans. Paving rotomilled surface where and to the depths specified in the plans. 4. Landscape restoration including supplying and planting trees, shrubs, broadcast seeding and placement of erosion control blanket where and as specified in the plans. Bidders are not required to be pre-qualified for this Project. Bid Bond in the amount of at least 5 percent of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bid Bond will be returned to each unsuccessful Bidder after tabulation and award of the Construction Contract. The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality or technicality in any bid if deemed by the County to be in the public's best interest. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
