Please note that all quantities and project details are subject to change. The Ministry reserves the right to not proceed with advertising this work. It is the Ministry's intent to publicly advertise this procurement on sasktenders.ca in July or August 2022. In order to mitigate this landslide movement, the installation of sub-horizontal drains is planned to drain water from the soils and relieve excess porewater pressures that are leading to the instability of the slope. The installation of these drains will be in addition to earthwork, erosion control and repair, and culvert installation, as well as constructing piping for collecting and discharging the water from the sub-horizontal drains. General details of the work are shown in the attached plans, but are subject to change. Estimated Quantities (subject to change): Sub-Horizontal Drain Pipe: 6 500 m Construction of Earth Embankment: 10 600 m3 Random Rip-Rap Type 1: 105 m3 Random Rip-Rap Type 2: 115 m3 Completion Date: October 31, 2022 Deposit with each Tender - 5% of total bid.
