The University has determined that bidders who submit bids on this project must be prequalified. Prequalified bidders will be required to have the following California contractor's license(s): Fire Protection Contractor, C-16 The University of California at San Francisco Medical Center, Design & Construction is seeking contractors to extend existing fire sprinklers to areas that are out of compliance with code required coverage at the Ambulatory Care Center at Parnassus and the Mount Zion Hospital locations. Areas requiring coverage include but are not limited to, lobbies, hallways, restrooms, office spaces, labs, patient rooms, etc. In addition, the University may utilize the selected fire sprinkler contractor for services at other renovation projects at the Mission Bay, Mount Zion or Parnassus campuses. The Job Order Contract JC0016 will have a Maximum Job Order Contract amount of $1,000,000 for the initial term with two (2) possible extensions for $1,000,000 each. Individual Job Order Authorization will range from $1,000 to $500,000. The University reserves the right to reject any or all responses to Prequalification Questionnaires and to waive non-material irregularities in any response received.
