The intent of the Spruce Grove Civic Centre and Transit Hub is to provide a a new multipurpose facility for the community of Spruce Grove and a central transit hub for busses. The new Civic Centre development will include two arenas, including dressing rooms, a Library, Theatre, Art Gallery, all connected with a central Lobby area, complete with parking area. The new Transit Hub development will include a new bus podium, access roads, washrooms, and parking area. The intent of the project is to foster community engagement through a captivating and successful architectural project and provide the required infrastructure facilities in this expanding neighborhood. This Tender Package #01 portion of the project is intended to complete the scopes of the Civic Centre and Transit Hub to grade. This includes: excavation, backfill, grading, earthworks, and radon rock; site underground utilities; asphalt and concrete paving; siteworks concrete; surveying; site and building piling; foundation drainage; mechanical and electrical sub-CM services; mechanical and electrical underground; site electrical; elevators and lifting devices; fencing and gates; surveying; and design and supply of pre-engineered metal buildings.
