The work to be performed under this contract consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, tools and materials for the reconstruction, repair and/or resurfacing of Layor Drive and Queens Highway from Snow Road to Holy Name High School in the City of Parma Heights, which includes asphalt resurfacing and other appurtenant work. The Contractor shall include the specification booklet along with any addenda, in their entirety and original form, with his/her bid. Duplications of the Bid Form and Contract Documents will be considered unacceptable. Each bid must be made upon the Proposal Form provided in the set of Specifications and must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Letter of Credit drawn on a solvent bank in Cuyahoga County in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the amount bid or a Bid Bond in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the amount bid as a guarantee that if said bid is accepted, a Contract will be entered into and Surety Bond satisfactory to said City in an amount equal to 100% of the total bid will be furnished. Checks shall be made payable to the City of Parma Heights, Ohio. Those who have submitted Proposals or their representatives are invited to attend. The right is reserved to accept any bidder to reject any or all bids and to waive formalities should it be deemed to be for the best interest of the City of Parma Heights to do so.
