From qualified professionals or firms for the preparation and finalization of plans and specifications, construction management, inspection services and materials testing for the Mears Field Slurry Seal Project. The project will slurry seal a 2580' X 60' asphalt runway and will also include the repainting of runway markings. This project is funded in part with local funds as well as funding through WSDOT Aviation. The construction portion of the project is proposed for completion in the spring/summer of 2023. The experience of the firm with similar clients and aviation project background will be a major determinant in the selection of the firm. The professional credentials of the firm will also be a major determinant in the selection process, along with a demonstrated understanding of the Town's needs and available start date. The most highly rated firm will be selected for negotiation of the professional service contract.
