**As of September 06, 2022, project for general contracto was awarded to Caliber Contracting Services, Inc. awarded amount $312,400.00, for HVAC to East West Manufacturing Co. awarded amount is $346, 000.00, and to Allegheny City Electric, Inc. for Electrical, awarded amount is $63,800.00, total amount of $722,200.00.** It is the intent of the RinggoldSchool District to hold an on-site public meeting to open and read the sealed bids at the above stated date and place immediately after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids. A. It is the intent of the Owner to enter into separate contracts as follows: Contract No. 1 - General Construction Contract No. 2 - HVAC Construction Contract No. 3 - Electrical Construction B. The Owner may enter into other separate contracts at this or later dates. . Bidders viewing Contract Documents via Plan Rooms are strongly recommended to notify the Sharon office of HHSDR Architects and Engineers of their intent to bid the project and register their company with HHSDR in order to receive notifications when addendums are issued. 2. Bidders who contact the Sharon office of HHSDR will receive a public link to the Contract Documents. No hard copies will be distributed and no deposit is required. a. It is expected that Bidders requesting a public link from HHSDR will provide a bona fide bid to the RinggoldSchool District. b. The Sharon office of HHSDR Architects and Engineers may be contacted Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M. A. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond made payable to the Ringgold School District in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the proposal (including Base Bid and all Add Alternate Bids). B. Such Bid Bond shall be submitted with the understanding that it shall guarantee that the Bidder's Bid will not be withdrawn for a period of at least sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids; that if the Bid is accepted, the Bidder will execute the Form of Agreement, as provided by the Owner, with all blanks appropriately filled and will submit the required 100% Performance and Labor and Material Bonds (submitted on A.I.A. Document A312) and 100% Maintenance Bond as specified in Section 007216, Article 11; and that in the event of withdrawal of said Bid within said period, or the failure to enter into said Agreement and submit said Bonds within ten days after the Bidder has received notice of the acceptance of the Bid, the Bidder shall be liable to the above mentioned Owner for the full amount of such Bond as representing the damage to the Owner on account of the default of the Bidder in any particular hereof. The Bid Bond of all Bidders whose Bids are not accepted will be returned within ten calendar days after the scheduled bid opening date. 1. Contractor's withdrawal of Bid: a. A bidder may only withdraw a bid if there is an honest and good-faith mistake (which must be supported by evidence) in the calculation of the bid price. A bidder has two business days from bid opening to withdraw a bid. b. The Owner reserves the right to accept or decline the Contractor's Withdrawal of Bid Request and reserves the right to retain the bid bond. c. A bidder who withdraws a bid will not be permitted to bid on the project a second time (should it be rebid) or provide any work or materials to the project. d. If the Owner choses to rebid the project, the bid bond of the withdrawing bidder will be forfeited to the Owner to supplement the rebid costs. The Ringgold School District reserves the right to reject any and all bids, when it is in the interest of the Ringgold School District and to reject the bid of any bidder who is not in a position to perform the Contract.
