Reference Number 0000228346 Source ID PU.AC.ON.224221.C81126 Purchase Type One Time Only- Delivery Date:April 2023 Question Acceptance Deadline 2022/08/12 04:00:00 PM EDT McMaster University is seeking to solicit bids from equipment manufacturers for the supply of an electric centrifugal chiller and invites qualified bidders to submit responses in accordance with the terms of this Request for Proposal (hereafter referred to as RFP). McMaster University is in the planning and engineering phase for the procurement and installation of the new chiller #6. Some background on the chillers is as follows: McMaster University currently has engaged Atkinson Engineering to complete the design of the chiller and the associated systems for the ET Clarke building and all required permits. McMaster will award the tender to a general prime contractor. The chiller will be ordered by McMaster University via letter of intent under this RFP and the PO for Chiller purchase will subsequently be issued by the successful General Contractor in the Chiller Installation Package. The chiller will then be received by the General Contractor who will be responsible for assembly & installation under their contract / PO to allow the GC full autonomy for the scheduling and coordinating delivery, install, start-up, commissioning, warranty etc. In order to submit & finalize, Proponents must upload all required documents as noted under the Requested Information section within the Bonfire project web portal.
