Demolition, site work and asbestos abatement for a municipal facility in Berthoud, Colorado. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; for site work for a municipal facility; and for asbestos abatement for a municipal facility.
The Town of Mead is soliciting bids from qualified contractors to provide demolition, deconstruction, and asbestos removal services under one contract at the Town of Mead owned property at 401 3rd Street, Mead, CO 80542. The work includes demolition and disposal of all onsite structures and foundations, diversion of concrete and metal waste streams to recycling or other reuse, salvaging of specified items from the site, traffic control, temporary fencing and backfill of site to existing grade following foundation removal. There are multiple bid alternates provided for additional salvage of materials and deduction of one of the onsite buildings from the demolition scope. Asbestos materials have been identified as present inside one of the three main buildings and removal is incidental to the prime contract, to be performed by a qualified and licensed asbestos contractor.
