The Work to be performed under this Project generally includes: The supply and installation of approximately 1,084 lineal feet of 6-inch PVC C900 DR 14 waterline and appurtenances near the intersection of LCR 8 and LCR 21, to complete replacement of the existing 6-inch asbestos cement waterline. The supply and installation of new meter pits and service lines that will replace existing meter pits that are currently connected to the existing waterlines that will be replaced. Proper abandonment in place of the existing 6-inch asbestos cement waterline using a flowable fill material. Proper abandonment in place of the existing 1.5-inch PVC waterline. All other labor, materials, supervision, traffic control, restoration and revegetation, materials testing, equipment, tools, pipe bedding material, concrete for thrust blocking, and all other additional items including permits necessary to complete the Work in substantial conformity with the Plans and Specifications. The primary location of the work is in Berthoud, Colorado at the intersection of LCR 8 and LCR 21. All work must be completed, and the waterline placed in service no later than June 29, 2023. The completion date has been established by Larimer County to accommodate the construction of a traffic circle at the subject intersection. Completing the waterline replacement project by this date is critical to the overall project schedule established by Larimer County.
