This project will replace 2 timber bridge decks with ballast decks. This replacement will facilitate future speed increases on the Hudson Line. Hudson Line over South Bay, Bridge Identification Number (BIN) 95.66 located at Mile Post 95.66 and Hudson Line over South Bay, Bridge Identification Number (BIN) 95.9 located at Mile Post 95.9 are both in the Hamlet of Annandale-On Hudson in Dutchess County, New York. This project's locations are rural areas. Annandale On Hudson is in the Town of Redhook, a rural area with the population of 11,319 people. Hudson Line over Oak Hill Creek. Summary of Work MP95.66: Install and remove cofferdam per contract specifications. Install retaining wall per contract specifications. Summary of Work MP95.90: Install and remove cofferdam per contract specifications. The selected construction firm shall perform the work and construction required to support Amtrak force account work in the Summary of Work listed above. The work expected by the Contractor as outlined: 1. Bridge 95.66 - Rehabilitation a. Temporary Steel Sheetpile Cofferdam and related engineering services. b. Shoreline Stabilization SheetPile Wall 2. Bridge 95.90 - Rehabilitation a. Temporary Steel Sheetpile Cofferdam and related engineering services. A Notice to Proceed for the construction is anticipated to be sometime in August 22, with plans to commence work in October '2022. Current Construction Schedule: 10/01/22 - 12/2/22 MP95.66 12/3/22 - 2/28/23 MP95.90 Statement of Qualifications shall include: Name of Firm (if a single entity) or Joint Venture Partners and significant subcontractors. The Name, Title, and Contact information of the Authorized Representative / Single Point-of-Contact for the SOQ. Presentation of resume / qualifications of Project Manager(s) demonstrating successful management of cross discipline, multi-year construction projects. Demonstration of the firm's successful experience in the construction / rehabilitation of bridges. Demonstration of the firm's successful experience performing work on / for the railroad or other transportation entities. Demonstration of the firm's successful work in navigable waterways. Demonstration that the firm has adequate resources for the construction project.
