Renovation of an educational facility in Charleston, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a two-story above grade educational facility.
College of Charleston needs to hire a contractor to remove and replace HVAC ducting at Kelly House room number's 312 and 215. Deadline to Submit Written Questions July 21, 2022 at 10:00 AM Contactor shall provide labor and materials to remove and replace the HVAC ducting that serves rooms 312 and 215 at Kelly House Dorm located at 106 St Philip St, Charleston, SC 29424. All work shall be performed during normal business hours which are Monday to Friday 7:00 am - 3:00 pm. All work must be completed by August 10, 2022. Contractor shall provide the following: 1. Remove and dispose of the existing fiberboard ducting from the unit up to the wall boots. 2. Install a new sheet metal trunk line and insulate with R-8.3 duct wrap. 3. Install flex duct from the new trunk line to each existing boot. 4. Provide necessary hanging hardware. 5. Tape and seal each duct seam and connection point. 6. Install new supply registers on each existing boot. 7. Return the system to normal operation. 8. Clean work place daily and final clean. Sheetrock removal and replace will be performed by another contractor. Floorplans for Kelly House 2 nd and 3 rd floor are provided below.
