On behalf of Alberta Health Services, you are hereby invited to submit a Bid in response to the 2022 Parking Structure Repair Program for the Kaye Edmonton Clinic in Edmonton, Alberta. The Work involves: Localized “thick” system (asphalt wearcourse and waterproofing membrane) repairs at designated locations of Level 8, including vertical termination perimeter and interior wall locations. Work includes removal and replacement of “thick” waterproofing assembly, all required surface preparation, substrate surface patching, detailing, terminations, and new metal flashing and sealant materials at repair areas. New snowplow guards at Level 8 perimeter and interior wall locations to protect waterproofing system vertical terminations. Includes all connections and painting. Asphalt surface sealer at designated areas, including throughout Level 8 and Level 7/8 ramp, and drive aisle corners of Level 2. Includes all required asphalt surface cleaning prior to application of surface sealer. Localized crack sealant repairs at designated areas prior to asphalt surface sealer application. Parking line painting at areas affected by Work (generally to match existing layout). Includes throughout Level 8 and localized areas of Levels 7 and Level 2, upon completion of asphalt surface sealer application. Concrete topping assembly repairs at Level 1. Work includes removal of deteriorated topping, insulation, drainage grid, protection board, and waterproofing membrane, all required surface preparation, substrate surface patching, detailing, terminations, new concrete topping assembly (reinforced concrete, insulation, drainage grid, protection board, and 2-ply torch-adhered SBS waterproofing membrane), and new sealant materials. Thin traffic deck coating system at Level 1 southeast stairwell landing. Includes all required surface cleaning and preparation, crack and joint detailing, new sealant materials, and termination details. Maintenance repairs to existing parking deck drainage system, including replacement of cracked and corroded piping components. Miscellaneous repairs, including beam soffit patching, soffit scraping and painting, and installation of new anchors for metal guards. Allowances for multiple work phases, construction hoarding, and dust control measures in order to maintain partial pedestrian and vehicle access through parking structure during work.
