Site work and outdoor lighting for a playground / park / athletic field in Port Burwell, Ontario. Conceptual plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and for outdoor lighting for a playground / park / athletic field.

This Request for Proposal invites qualified contractors to submit proposals for the replacement of Port Burwell Ball Park Towers and Lights located at 55461 Nova Scotia Line in the Village of Port Burwell. - Contractor to include costing for disconnection and reconnection fees. - Removal and disposal of existing (6) steel towers and light fixtures. - Removal of existing concrete tower bases. Municipality of Bayham will except concrete bases at Municipal yard located on Tunnel Line approx. 10 km from Port Burwell Ball Park. Contractor to supply transportation of all materials away from site. Existing tower foundations to be backfilled and packed with packable material to a minimum of 150mm below grade. Complete backfill with minimum 150mm topsoil and grass seed. - Removal of all underground infrastructure including wiring and conduit. - Supply and install (6) new wooden light standards to a min. of 18 meters above grade. (Within the appendix "B" list alternative materials for lighting standards including height, warranty and price.) - Supply sufficient ball diamond LED light source. Please specify quantity and type with in appendix "B" - Supply electrical supply to all light standards and supply to existing panel box. . All underground wire to be buried within PVC electrical conduit no less than 1 meter below the surface including - Complete all earth works with topsoil including wheel rutting, excavated trenches and tower bases. - Hydro seed all areas as necessary as weather dependent. Final clean-up may be completed in the early spring of 2023. Due to the Baseball season, decommission of existing lights and commissioning of new lights may be completed between the following dates. - September 12, 2022 through to November 25, 2022 Questions will be accepted and until Thursday, July 28th at 4:00 p.m. and responses provided by Tuesday, August 2nd.
