This is a Request For Information (RFI)/Sources Sought (SS) notice and does NOT constitute a request for proposal (RFP), request for quote (RFQ), or invitation for bid (IFB). No award will be made from responses to this RFI/SS notice. No solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. NASA will protect such data from public disclosure to the extent permitted under the Freedom of Information Act and other laws and regulations. Not responding to this notice does not preclude participation in any future contract activity related to this notice. The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Kennedy Space Center (KSC) is hereby soliciting information about potential sources capable of providing crawlerway rock in compliance with government specifications with delivery to KSC. The NAICS Code for this requirement is 423320 - Brick, Stone, And Related Construction Material Merchant Wholesalers with a size standard of 150 employees Requirements contemplated under this RFI include-- Procuring and delivering rock that meets the KSC Crawlerway Rock specification to a KSC site designated by the contracting officer. NASA KSC is seeking capabilities from all interested parties, including small, small disadvantaged (SDB), 8(a), women-owned (WOSB), veteran-owned (VOSB), service-disabled veteran-owned (SDVOSB), and Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) small business concerns, as well as Historically Black Colleges and Universities and minority institutions for the purposes of determining the appropriate level of competition or small business subcontracting goals for this effort. The Government reserves the right to consider a small business, 8(a), WOSB, VOSB, SDVOSB, or HUBZone small business set-aside based on responses hereto. Prospective offerors having the capabilities necessary to provide crawlerway rock as described are requested to submit a capability statement of ten (5) pages or less using 12-point Times New Roman font. A page is defined as one side of a sheet, 8.5" x 11", with at least one-inch margins on all sides. Responses must include the following: Company name, address, and website Point of contact, including title, phone number and e-mail address CAGE code and DUNS number Size of business and socioeconomic status (e.g., SDB, WOSB, VOSB, SDVOSB, HUBZone) if applicable Total annual revenue by year for the past 3 years and number of employees Ownership; affiliate information: parent company, joint venture partners, potential teaming partners, prime contractor (if potential sub) or subcontractors (if potential prime), if known and applicable Company's capabilities and experience providing supplies and/or services as described above. For businesses that cannot perform the entire scope, identify the types of services that your company could perform Indicate whether you consider the Government's requirement for crawlerway rock to be a commercial item as defined in FAR 2.101.
