Marshall Middle School Asphalt Solutions Plus $136,250.00 Marshall High School Asphalt Solutions Plus $27,560.00 Bus Parking Lot Asphalt Solutions Plus $68,500.00 Marshall Public Schools invites qualified asphalt construction and maintenance firms to submit a proposal to mill and replace the asphalt parking lots and/or driveways at 3 separate locations in the Marshall Public Schools Distirct that will be specified herein. The bids may be for one, two or all three of the projects. MPS reserves the right to select the firm or firms that best meet our needs and anticipates entering into an agreement with the selected firm or firms upon mutual agreement with the Facility Director and the Director of Business for MPS. All requests for clarification or additional information related to this RFP must be submitted in writing, by fax, or email on or before July 25th, 2022 at 4pm. All bids will be opened on Aug 1, 2022, at 10:00am in the Marshall Middle School Community Room and read aloud. This opening and reading of the bids is open to the public; entry to the Community Room is through the Central Office Main Door on 100 East Green Street. Final decisions of accepting or rejecting bids will be made by the owner not later than 4:00pm on August 3, 2022. This Request for Proposal (RFP) is issued to invite vendors to submit information and/or bids. Issuance of this RFP in no way constitutes a commitment by MPS to select a firm and/or reward a contract. MPS reserves the right, without prejudice, to reject any or all proposals not in compliance with the RFP specifications and may exercise the right to accept or reject any or all proposals submitted. The first project location is the primary/public parking lot that is located at Marshall Middle School, 100 E. Green St., Marshall, MI, 49068. This lot is located on the south side of the building and is entered from Jefferson St. on the west side of the property. The second project location is the north access drive that lies to the north of Marshall High School, 701 N. Marshall Drive, Marshall, MI 49068. The drive is badly cracked and has developed numerous potholes. The third project location is located behind Harrington School (the school address is 100 S. Clark St., Albion, MI 49224). The lot itself is listed as 1378 Division Drive (East Erie Street) in Albion, 49224. The main drive and staff parking area, as well as a centrally located section of the bus parking area within the fence, is badly cracked and broken up Milling and Re-Paving the Entire Staff Parking Lot and Entry into the Bus Lot at 1378 E. Division Drive (E. Erie Street, Albion, 49224) as well as Milling and Re-Paving the Deteriorated Central Portion of the Bus Parking Lot (within the fence) of Marshall Public Schools Bus Lot At Same Location.
