Purchase and Delivery of Concrete Poles for Smetana-Leonard T-Line The right to accept any bid or to reject any or all bids and to waive all formalities is hereby reserved by Bryan Texas Utilities. In order to ensure a fair and public bid process, all questions or clarifications related to this Request for Bid shall be addressed in writing, via electronically prior to 12:00 p.m. CST on August 12, 2022. This contract shall become effective from date of acceptance and approval by BTU. It shall remain in full force and effect with firm fixed bid prices for a period of twelve (12) months A Materials/Supply Bond in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the contract price, conditioned upon faithful performance of the contract in accordance with the plans, specifications and contract documents, shall be executed by the successful bidder and shall accompany the signed contract. No sureties will be accepted by BTU who are now in default or delinquent on any bonds or who are an interested party in any litigation against BTU or the City. Bond shall be made on forms furnished by BTU, and shall be executed by an approved surety company authorized to do business in the State of Texas and acceptable to BTU. Bond shall be executed by the Contractor and the sureties.
