Site work for a road / highway in Cranbrook, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
This contract is with BC Timber Sales in the Kootenay Business area and consists of the following; Conduct New Road Construction of approx. 1867 meters of Upper Sullivan Hill FSR, and 1735 meters of Lower Sullivan Hill FSR. This construction work includes: right of way clearing / falling / Skidding / processing & *decking road site preparation road subgrade construction, side cast construction install drainage structures, culverts/cross drains possible end hauling/surfacing possible drilling/blasting or another method of construction through solid rock various finishing tasks described in the schedules of the contract supply, deliver and install culverts at marked locations The contractor must supply and install geotextiles if, and when, required and have it delivered to the project site. Grading of the entire road system in contract and possibly additional road (to be determined). decking – all associated Right of Way trees/volume with this contract must be decked whole tree, either with or without stumps, on the designated landings identified on the Road Site Plan Map in App I. Decks must be timber marked with the assigned FLTC number A2182. No stumpage will be charged to the contractor as logs will not be hauled off site. These decks/trees will be included and sold at a later date with the associated Timber Sale separate from this contract and FLTC. Documents can be obtained from www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca.
