Duncan Construction Ltd. - Base Bid $ 580,167.60; Separate Price #1 $ 685,780.20; Separate Price #2 $ 1,414,626.75. Minty's Moving Ltd. - Base Bid $ 630,772.50; Separate Price #1 $ 563,880.00; Separate Price #2 $ 1,144,384.50. * * Award subject to final approval. The major items of work for this tender include: Demolition and disposal of three existing bridges including removal of piles to 1.5 m below grade: - Site 1 bridge is a 14m single span steel girder and timber foundations; - Site 2 bridge is a standard timber bridge 2-6m spans; - Site 3 bridge is a standard timber bridge 2-6m spans. Installation and backfill of new galvanized CSP culverts at each site as detailed on the drawings. Excavation, loading, and hauling of fill and granular material to the site; Embankment, road and ditch regrading and erosion control including rip-rap, seeding, and erosion protection blankets; and Roadwork to improve and re-grade the road approaches and ditches on either side of the creek.
