Parks Canada has a requirement for janitorial services at the Kouchibouguac National Park for a twenty (20) month period commencing September 1, 2022 until April 30, 2024. There is also an option to extend the contract for one (1) additional one (1) year period. The Contractor must supply all labour, material, equipment, tools and supplies necessary to carry out the Work. The period of the Contract is from date of Contract to April 30, 2024 inclusive. The Contractor grants to Canada the irrevocable option to extend the term of the Contract by up to one (1) additional one (1) year period under the same conditions. The Contractor agrees that, during the extended period of the Contract, it will be paid in accordance with the applicable provisions as set out in the Basis of Payment. Canada may exercise this option at any time by sending a written notice to the Contractor at least thirty (30) calendar days before the expiry date of the Contract. The option may only be exercised by the Contracting Authority, and will be evidenced for administrative purposes only, through a contract amendment. ENQUIRIES All enquiries of a technical and contractual nature are to be submitted to the Contracting Authority. Enquiries regarding this solicitation must be submitted in writing and should be received no later than five (5) calendar days prior to the date set for solicitation closing to allow sufficient time to provide a response. Enquiries received after that time may result in an answer NOT being provided. National Parks Regulations require that all work is to be performed in accordance with the ordinances, laws, rules and regulations set out in the National Park Act. The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
