As of November 16, 2022, bids of August 30, 2022 were cancelled. The project will be redesigned and then rebid in the future. The timeline is not yet known. As per the Owner the project has been cancelled. Editorial Content Team is actively seeking updated information.
INSTRUCTIONS TO QUOTERS
1. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price Purchase Order. Award shall be made to the responsible
offer with the lowest priced quote that conforms to the requirements of the solicitation. PLEASE NOTE: This
acquisition is subject to the Buy American Act. Please see DFARS clause 252.225-7000.
2. Site Visit:
Quoters are encouraged to attend the site visit. Quoters shall bring government issued identification, safety gear
(hard hat, safety boots, etc.), and personal protective equipment (PPE) for COVID-19 as required by either the State
or Federal guidelines in effect at the time of the of the site visit.
At a minimum of two business days prior to the site visit, submit name, title, and phone number of personnel

Howard A. Hanson Dam (HAHD) 12 Well Extraction System - Pre-Quote Site Visit

Upon arrival to the location identified above, quoters must check in at the security booth. Quoters shall notify the
security staff that they are attending the pre-quote site visit for the HHD 12 Well Extraction System Project. Quoters
shall provide their car registration and proof of insurance (the access road to HAHD is owned by the city of Tacoma
Headworks and these are their requirements for access).
Promptly after checking in, all vendors will be escorted to HAHD. Radio equipment is required to travel the access
road and thus the reason for the escort. Vendors will not be able to attend the pre-quote site visit if they arrive late.
One pre-quote site visit is scheduled. If no quoters register for the pre-quote site visit, the pre-quote site visit will be
cancelled.
Any questions regarding the requirement arising during the site visit shall be submitted in writing to Shane Jervis via
email at shane.e.jervis@usace.army.mil not later than 48 hours after the site visit.
