The Town of Barkhamsted is requesting proposals from qualified General Contractors to work with the Town to remodel the kitchen at the Senior Center, located at 109 West River Road in Barkhamsted. It is the intent of the Town of Barkhamsted to open up this request for proposals ("RFP") for the renovation and remodeling of the kitchen to any contractor that is licensed and insured in the State of Connecticut. Services that have been omitted from this RFP, which are clearly necessary for the completion of all work, shall be considered a requirement although not directly specified or called for in this proposal. The project includes, but is not limited to, the scope of work described in the attachment to this document. In particular, all code requirements for a hood and exhaust system that is compliant with State building code shall be met: Interested contractors may contact the Town to receive the full Request for Proposal and/or to schedule an inspection of the Senior Center kitchen to be renovated.
