The final scope of work will be determined based on the final Drawings and Specifications prepared by Architect. The work may consist of, but is not necessarily limited to, one or more of the following: architectural design; engineering; site clearing; excavation; fill; select fill and backfill; site utilities; concrete sidewalks; curbs; gutters and paving; rough and finish grading; top soil and seeding; landscaping and irrigation; fencing; concrete piers; concrete slab-on-grade; load bearing site-cast concrete panel exterior and interior walls; structural steel beams; columns and roof purlins; metal roof panels; metal stairways; guardrails and handrails; miscellaneous metal fabrications; rough and finish carpentry; millwork and casework; wood doors; metal doors and frames; aluminum doors and frames; overhead sectional doors; glass and glazing; damp proofing and waterproofing; caulking and sealants; thermal insulation; flashing and sheet glazing; carpets; resilient flooring and base; metal studs and support systems; gypsum drywall and acoustical lay-in ceilings; painting; interior and exterior signage; metal louvers and miscellaneous specialties; fire protection; and mechanical; plumbing and electrical systems and other requirements set out in the Contract Documents. The successful bidder will be required to furnish Payment and Performance Bonds for 100% of amount bid from a Surety licensed to do business in the State of Texas, within fifteen (15) days of the bid award. The BID BOND must be submitted five days prior by Cashier's Check or Certified Check in the amount of five (5%) percent of the amount bid to Cherise De Los Santos, Purchasing Manager. The winning bidder, upon City acceptance, will be required to provide the City with a minimum two (2) year maintenance bond. The maintenance bond shall be in the amount of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000.00) or ten (10%) percent of the amount of the contract, whichever is greater, but not to exceed one hundred (100) percent of the contract amount. The City of The Colony reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in any bid, and to accept the bid that is in the best interest of the City. No paper bids accepted for this bid and should any submitted, the unopened bid returned to vendor.
