Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Surprise, Arizona. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for outdoor lighting for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and bridge / tunnel.
This project is Phase 2 of the delivery the full design and construction of the ultimate intersection of 163rd Avenue and Jomax Road. Phase 2 will include an extension of the existing box culvert and other drainage improvements, the ultimate traffic signal configuration, street lights, sidewalks, travel lanes and landscape. This project will also include right-of-way acquisition from State Land Trust. Phase 1 was completed in January 2020. As of April 16, 2025, a design firm and general contractor have been selected for the project the project. Construction is expected to start once Right of Way (ROW) acquisition is completed.
