The City of Nogales hereinafter referred to as City, will accept bids from qualified firms or individuals with the appropriate license as registered with the Arizona Registrar of Contractors to perform the following services: Project Description This project consists in the renovatation of the existing Teyechea Park located on the west of the City Hall building on 777 North Grand Avenue in Nogales, Arizona. The proposed Teyechea Park, Phase I design includes the following items, but not limited to, concrete curbs and sidewalks, concrete pavement, concrete scuppers, ramadas, rubberized play surface, endureflex safety surfacing, play booster stations, barbeque grills, turf seeding, and irrigation system. Objective/Scope of Work The contractor shall furnish all materials, labor, equipment, services, transportation and perform all the work for the City s project known as Teyechea Park, Phase I as called for in the plans/specifications. The proposer should prepare a detailed time schedule for completion. The successful proposer should be prepared to comply with all local, state and federal safety and environmental requirements. Failure of the proposer to complete all of the bid documents may result in rejection of the Bid. All bids should be identified as Sealed Bids Teyechea Park, Phase I. All bid security shall be made payable, without condition, to the City of Nogales. Said bid security shall be considered liquidated damages and shall be forfeited to the City of Nogales in the event the Bid is accepted and the successful bidder fails to execute the contract and furnish the required bonds within ten (10) workings days after the notice of bid award. Bids received after the specified time of closing will be returned unopened. The City of Nogales also reserves the right to hold any or all bids for a period of thirty (30) days after the date of opening.
