Renovation of a medical facility in Fort Yukon, Alaska. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.

Task #1. Replacement of Domestic Water Circulation Line. ? Remove an existing section of the recirculation line – approximately 15-feet of 1-inch diameter copper tubing and associated valves and recirculation pump. ? Replace removed section with new 1-inch PEX piping with associated adapters for copper-to-PEX transitions. ? Replace with new all associated valves and recirculation pump (Grundfos Alpha 15- 55 stainless steel body). ? Install a new paddle wheel flow indicator in the new piping assembly. Dwyer Window Sight Flow Indicator with Impreller Model SFI-300-3/4 or equivalent. ? Install a new circuit setter balancing valve. All new components shall be sized for 1-inch diameter piping and use corrosionresistant stainless steel fasteners. Task #2. Replacement of Corroded 4-inch Diameter Valves and Strainer. Replace the following components and hardware which are excessively corroded. New valve and strainer shall be lead-free and rated for potable water use. Install with new dielectric isolators and corrosion-resistant stainless steel hardware. a. Strainer, cast iron body, 4-inch dia. flanged connection, epoxy-coated. b. Valve, butterfly, 4-inch dia. flanged connection, epoxy-coated. Task #3. Replacement of Gaskets and Corroded Hardware. At 4-in. dia. domestic water gate valves, replace flanged gaskets and corroded hardware with new corrosionresistant stainless steel hardware. Task #4. Modification of Dielectric Pipe Anchors & Supports. Remove existing and install new dielectric pipe anchors and supports with insulating materials. Task #5. Mobilization / Demobilization. Provide materials, tools, equipment, supplies, parts, labor and supervision, freight, transportation (mobilization and demobilization), necessary to successfully complete Tasks 1-4, as well as all COVID-19 related costs. The Contractor shall complete all work in conformance with the International Building Code, International Mechanical Code, Uniform Plumbing Code, and all applicable state and local codes, ordinances, and standards. All new components shall be lead-free and rated for potable water use.
