Saving Project...

Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. Completed plans call for the construction of a 126,000-square-foot, three-story above grade, 900-seat educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; and 51-seat day care center.

PREQUALIFIED firms only. Holy Trinity Catholic School Division (HTCSD) and Prairie South School Division No. 210 (PSSD) and the Government of Saskatchewan (GOS) are proceeding with development of the new Moose Jaw Joint-Use School (the "Project"). The Project is approximately 11,718 sq m and will serve students from kindergarten to Grade 8. The school will be 110,000 sq ft, with a capacity for 900 students. A childcare facility will also be included with enough space for 51 children. There will be separate gymnasiums as well as a shared resource space. Prekindergarten to Grade 8 will attend. With the design process now complete, the next phase of the project has commenced with issuing of the project's tender document to the prequalified contractors. The prequalification process was completed in 2022 with the selection of the following four (4) general contractors, six (6) mechanical contractors and five (5) electrical contractors (in no particular order): Prequalified Mechanical Contractors: - All-Rite - Interwest - Pow City - Reinhardt - Christie - Marquardt Prequalified Electrical Contractors: - Alliance - Flyer - Pentec - Western - Kress TIMELINE: Ground breaking ceremony has recently taken place. Construction will be completed in 2025. *Award amount was not released for publication.
