Request for qualification professional engineering services for tide gate evaluation galveston county, texas Purpose: Galveston County is seeking professional engineering services to perform a tide gate structure inspection and provide a technical report documenting findings and recommendations. The Respondents will perform testing and inspection of the corrosion, coatings, and cathodic protection of the tide gate structure and its system components, including structural, mechanical/operational, and electrical/telemetering inspections. Galveston County reserves the right to amend these dates and will notify proposers of any changes via an addendum posted on the County's Purchasing Department's website Deadline for Questions & Inquiries Monday, August 15, 2022 by 5:00 p.m. CDT The net price shall be delivered to Galveston County, including all freight, shipping, and license fees. Galveston County is tax exempt, and no taxes should be included in proposal pricing. Bonding Requirements: There are no bonding requirements for this Request for Qualification. oDEBARMENT AND SUSPENSION: To participate in this solicitation, respondent certifies that neither it, nor any of its Principals, are presently debarred, suspended, proposed for debarment, disqualified, excluded, or in any way declared ineligible for the award of contracts by any Federal agency. All contractors/subcontractors that are debarred, suspended, or otherwise excluded from or ineligible for participation on federal assistance programs may not undertake any activity in part or in full under this project. The Galveston County Commissioners' Court reserves the right to waive any informality and to reject any and all submittals and to accept the submittal which, in its opinion, is most advantageous to Galveston County with total respect the governing laws.
