Texas City Economic Development Corporation (TCEDC) is requesting bids for the Asbestos Abatement/Demolition of the Reception Hall Building at the Old First Presbyterian Church located at 1112 7th Street North in Texas City, Texas 77590. No taxes are to be included in the bid as the Texas City Economic Development Corporation is exempt from the payment thereof. Bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid for the project will be required to accompany the bid. A one hundred (100%) Performance and Payment Bond will be required with award of the contract if exceeding $50,000.00. The Texas City Economic Development Corporation reserves the right to waive any minor informality or irregularity, and to reject any or all bids and to accept the bid or bids, which, in its opinion, is most advantageous to the Texas City Economic Development Corporation. Responses received after this date/time will not be considered. Postmarked date will not constitute timely delivery.
