The City of Flagstaff Route 66 Monument Signs is a project to install three (3) new monument signs along East Route 66 at locations 8, 9 and 10 as shown on the Civil Plans, attached as Exhibit D. The monument signs are 16' tall malpais (basalt) stone pillars tapering up from a 6' x 6' square base. Each sign has a horizontal timber pole near the top from which the hanging panel sign will read "Route 66". All three (3) signs will be located within a public Right-of-Way and not on private property parcels. This summary is not a comprehensive account of the work. The plan sets, specifications, and special provisions shall be considered a comprehensive detail of the work to be performed.
