The contractor shall provide all design, labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to replace an existing 130-ton HVAC chiller with two 70-ton chillers outside of Hangar 714, including all associated plumbing and electrical work in accordance with the detailed scope below. The project location is 714 4th Street, Dover AFB 19902, Kent County Delaware. 1.3 DETAILED SCOPE A. Remove 130-ton Chiller (1) Remove the existing Trane Model RTAA-130 Chiller located outside Hangar 714. The chiller will be turned over to Dover AFB for disposal. (2) Existing 25'x16' concrete pad may be retained, as well as existing water lines. Existing water lines shall be reinsulated if reused. B. Install two (2) 70-ton Chillers (1) Install two Trane Model CGAM 070F 2Q02 AXD2 A1A1 A1AX 70-ton nominal chillers with R-410A refrigerant with all necessary appurtenances for operation, to include but not limited to all associated electrical, piping, insulation, and heat trace. (2) Provide 5-year compressor warranty. (3) Install new wiring for both chillers, BACnet cards, and Trane Tracer Summit chiller plant controls. C. Controls, Testing and Balancing (1) Ensure all chiller controls are tied into the front end of the Energy Management Control System (EMCS) in Building 615. (2) Set up new graphics for chillers. All communication links shall be tested to ensure they operate properly. (3) As part of commissioning, the new chillers shall be programmed to operate in a lead-lag configuration such that each chiller serves as the primary on a weekly rotation. (4) Contractor shall provide Testing and Balancing (TAB) report of the chilled water system fed by the new chillers and commissioning of the newly installed chiller $250,000-500,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
