The project consists of the construction of four (4) pickleball courts at Custenborder Field including site work, seeding & mulching, installation of 6' chainlink fence, net posts & netting, and pickleball court surfacing per plan specifications. An alternate bid will be accepted for construction of two (2) additional pickleball courts. Each Bid must include the required submissions per the Bid specifications and must be accompanied by either a Bid bond in an amount of 10% of the Bid amount or by certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit upon a solvent bank in the amount of not less than 10% of the Bid amount. A 100% Performance Bond will be required after the Contract is awarded to cover the installation period. Bid Bonds shall list the City of Sidney as Obligee and be accompanied by Proof of Authority of the official or agent signing the bond. Attention of Bidders is called to all of the requirements contained in the electronic Bid documents, particularly to the Federal Requirements, Federal Labor Standards Provisions and Davis-Bacon Wages, various insurance requirements, various equal opportunity provisions, and requirement for a payment bond and performance bond for 100% of the Contract price. A Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation goal has not been established for this project; however, DBEs are encouraged to review the project and consider submitting a bid.
