The intent of this bid is to obtain stipulated price (lump-sum) bid(s) from bidders for trade contract work for the Selkirk Regional Health Centre - Inpatient Addition, Work Package 2 (WP2) - Foundations located at Selkirk, Manitoba as indicated in the bid documents. The work included in this package includes but is not limited to: 1. Selective building demolition to accommodate new addition. 2. Cast-in-Place concrete foundations up to main floor: grade beams and pile caps. 3. Reinforcing steel supply and install. 4. Structural steel & miscellaneous metals up to Main Floor: - Anchor bolts. - Weld plates for beam connections and brick supports including shear stud connectors and post-installed adhesive anchors. - Embedded bearing plates including shear stud connectors. - Embedded edge angle with anchors into concrete. - Sump pit frames, covers and ladders. - Steel deck supports. - Weld plates and angle for sidewalk slabs. - Weld plates and angle for stone veneer. 5. Damproofing of foundation walls and pits. 6. Cement parging. 7. Building bulk and detailed excavation & backfilling. 8. Crawlspace preparation: Trenching and backfilling of weeping tile system, weeping tile system including pits, sheet damproofing, and weak mix concrete.
