Construction of New Bocce Courts at Friendship Park Clarification Deadline: 8/24/2022 12:00 PM The Work to be completed under this contract consists of all labor, equipment, and materials to construct two bocce courts including borders and underdrains, walkways, bench pads, benches, a storage shed and associated stone pad, and a yard drain at Friendship Park, Montgomery Township, PA. A nominal fee of 1/3% (.0033) of the bid amount (minimum $100 and maximum $5,000) is assessed only to bidders who are awarded contracts. A Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the maximum amount bid is required to be submitted with each bid. The successful bidder will be required to submit within the time limit specified in the Contract Documents, the Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in an amount of 100% of the contract amount. This project is subject to applicable provisions of Act 422, Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act as amended, the prevailing minimum wage rates issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry, and to applicable provisions of Act 127 Pennsylvania Public Works Employment Verification as amended. All bids shall remain subject to acceptance for sixty (60) days after the Bid Opening or for such time period that Bidder may agree to in writing upon request. Bids may be withdrawn within two (2) business days after the opening of bids only by the withdrawing Bidder's strict compliance with 73 P.S. Section 1602 and any subsequent amendments. Montgomery Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids for any cause whatsoever, to eliminate any item or items from the contract, and to wave any informality in the bids. The project will be managed by Montgomery Township.
