Demolition and site work for a stadium in Maumee, Ohio. Completed plans call for the demolition of a stadium; and for site work for a stadium.
A signed Bond with seal for the full amount of the Bid, meeting the requirements of section 153.54 to 153.57, Ohio Revised code, OR a certified check payable to the Lucas County Treasurer for ten percent (10%) of the full amount of the bid, must be included with each bid or the bid will be disqualified. Bonds will be returned to unsuccessful bidders within thirty (30) days of contract award. Bidder hereby agrees to commence work under this contract on or before a date to be specified in written "Notice to Proceed" of the Owner and to fully complete the project within 75 consecutive calendar days thereafter as stipulated in the specifications, Bidder further agrees to pay as liquidated damages, the sum of $250.00 for each consecutive calendar day thereafter. Ohio's prevailing wage laws apply to all public improvements financed in whole or in part by public funds when the total overall project cost is fairly estimated to be more than $250,000 for new construction or $75,000.00 for reconstruction, enlargement, alteration, repair, remodeling, renovation, or painting.
