Site work for a water / sewer project in Visalia, California. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This project is to install a 48" sanitary sewer trunk line in Shirk Street between Walnut Avenue and Noble Avenue. This will connect the existing sewer trunkline within Shirk Street south of Hwy-198 to the existing sewer trunkline in Walnut Avenue. Project will remove the existing 6" sewer force main and the associated lift station located at Shirk Street and Noble Avenue. The replacement of the line is identified in the City's Sewer Master Plan and will provide the necessary wastewater conveyance capacity to accommodate future development growth. This project is in included in the City of Visalia FY 2022/23 & 2023/24 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of August 2, 2022, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
