Collection, Hauling, and Disposal of Municipal Refuse which consists of bidding Method 1 (five (5) bag limit) and Method 2 (no bag limit or restrictions on type of refuse except excluded refuse as defined); only one of the Methods bid will be awarded. All Bids shall be submitted with a certified check or Surety Bid Bond on the form provided, naming Borough of Cressona as payee or obligee. The amount of the certified check or Surety Bid Bond shall be 10% of highest amount bid for Contract year 2023. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the above specified date, except as specifically may be provided by law. Check to be made payable to Systems Design Engineering, Inc. The Borough of Cressona reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive any defects or irregularities in the Bids.
