Renovation of a municipal facility in Morganfield, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

The project involves all labor, materials, equipment, tools, and services necessary to install a new passenger elevator within the existing Union County Courthouse. The project to be constructed and pursuant to this Contract will be financed with assistance from the Kentucky Community Development Block Grant Program and is subject to all applicable Federal laws and regulation A Bid bond or certified check for a value of not less than five percent (5%) of the Bidder's total bid amount, including all alternatives bids items and other items as noted. The guarantee shall be made out to: Union County Fiscal Court, Kentucky.Each bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope bearing on the outside the name of the bidder, address, and the name of the project for which the bid is submitted. Only the original Form of Proposal is required, no additional copies are required. If bid is mailed, it must be received prior to the bid time and date noted. Facsimile bids will NOT be allowed. Bids received after the deadline will not be opened. If forwarded by mail, the sealed envelope containing the bid must be enclosed in another envelope addressed as specified. The Information for Bidders, Form of Bid, Form of Contract, Plans, Specifications and Forms of Bid Bond, Performance and Payment Bond, and other contract documents may be examined at the following: Union County Courthouse 100 West Main Street Morganfield KY 42437 PFGW 101 South 4th Street Paducah KY 42002-0510 Green River Area Development District 300 GRADD Way Owensboro KY 42301 electronically River City Printing, LLC. 222 Kentucky Ave Paducah KY 42003 Plans may be viewed at electronically Questions regarding viewing may be directed to River City Printing. Documents will be available on or after August 3, 2022. Partial plan sets and specifications will not be available. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Each bidder must deposit his or her bid security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract, Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109, and E.O. 11246. Further, Title VI Minority bidders are encouraged to bid. No bidder may withdraw his bid within thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. liquidated damages, the sum of $250 for each consecutive calendar day thereafter as hereinafter provided in the General Conditions.
