Site work for a communication facility in Aurora, Colorado. Completed plans call for site work for a communication facility.
As of September 14, 2022, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The City of Aurora has a fiber line parallel to its Prairies Water Pipeline that runs from its North Campus Wellfields all the way to Binney Water Treatment Plant. This project is for the replacement of the fiber line between the North Campus and Pump Station1 1. Due to the current burial depth of the fiber line (<16" at points) has been damaged in the past due to farming activities which have required full replacement of the damaged sections. The new fiber line will utilize horizontal directional drilling (HDD) between the fiber handholds to achieve a burial depth of 6'. The existing fiber line will be abandoned in place.
