The types of goods and services to be purchased are: GENERAL CONTRACTOR/CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTOR to oversee all aspects of a construction and or remodel projects from start to finish. The main duties will include hiring the necessary subcontractors, securing necessary supplies and providing handon supervision and guidance. Responsible for the overall coordination of a project. Bid will be for Costplus pricing: (a fixed percentage added to cost to complete the project.) This fixed percentage will be valid for one year on Commissioner Court Approved Construction Projects. Bidders should submit a fixed percentage pricing in their bid. Invoices delivered for payment will generally be paid by the second Monday of the month following receipt. No bond shall be required of the bidder. Bids should be submitted in a sealed envelope with the proper title (General Contractor Bid) on the outside of the bid envelope. Jack County reserves the right to accept and/or reject any and all bids. The proposal must include Form 1295, Policy of Compliance Section 2252.908 Texas Government Code. The contract ID number will be provided upon request. Bidders are encouraged to be present at the bid opening to defend and answer questions about their proposal. All proposals must be accompanied by a completed Proposal Request Form which may be obtained through the office of the County Auditor.
